 | Keith Weber - Keith has been a major participant in the High Country real estate market. As a Realtor for over 38 years, he has served as president of Elk River Development Corporation, president of Hound Ears Corporation, and for years was president of Weber-Hodges Realtors, the area's leading real estate brokerage firm. Keith has been very active in local community affairs as past president of the Boone Area Chamber of Commerce and past president of the Avery-Watauga Association of Realtors. He has served on the local Board of Directors of Piedmont Federal Savings and Loan and on the board of United Way. Keith retired in 2009 and he and his wife, Pat, moved to the Charlotte, North Carolina area. |  | Jimmy Hodges - Jimmy`s ancestors were some of the earliest settlers in Watauga County, having come to the area in the 1790s. Jimmy and his partner Keith formed Weber-Hodges Realtors in 1986 and he has been involved in real estate sales and development in the High Country for many years. Jimmy has contributed to the economic growth of our area in numerous ways, having served on the Watauga County Board of Commissioners for 8 years as Chairman and Vice Chairman, the Watauga County Economic Development Commission, Caldwell Community College Board, Hospice Advisory Committee and the Hospice Foundation Board. He has served on the Watauga Medical Center Board, the Appalachian Regional Healthcare System Board, the Watauga Medical Center Foundation Board, the Blue Ridge Electric Community Leaders Committee and the AF Bank Advisory Board. He and his wife, Glenda, reside in the Rutherwood Community and are active menbers of Laurel Springs Baptist Church. Jimmy retired in 2009. |  | Dan Godwin - Dan is managing partner of Weber, Hodges & Godwin Commercial Real Estate Services, LLC. After graduating from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, he began his business career with Price Waterhouse & Co. in Raleigh, North Carolina and became a certified public accountant. He served the firm as a senior tax accountant. Dan later became president of a four generation family wholesale grocery distribution business in Ahoskie, North Carolina. He is a non-practicing, certified public accountant and is on inactive status as a CPA. In his real estate profession Dan has completed the intensive graduate level curriculum offered by the CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) Institute. He is a member of the Boone Sunrise Rotary Club, a trustee of the Properties for Children board of Grandfather Home for Children, Inc. and has served on the board of directors of the Boone Area Chamber of Commerce, and the Hunger Coalition, Inc. Dan along with his wife, Debbie, and son, Pearce, are members of the First Baptist Church in Boone where Dan has served as a deacon, treasurer, and church trustee. Dan and his family reside in Blowing Rock. |
